Glimpses of spring

Last week, playing in the garden with my dog, I saw the first little flowers and decided to take some photographs.
Legend says that two youngsters were swearing undying love for one another with this flower, but he fell in the river and cryed the phrase as a promise of eternal love and devotion. In the Roman world, this flower was considered a symbol of liberation from pain and bad moments in life; in fact, it was used in medicaments.

A little daisy.

Peach blossom, Cydonia – Chaenomeles.

Our little palm tree, surviving through the bad weather.

Leaves of hyacinth and narcissus, in anticipation of the flowers.

And a little leaf on a rose branch.
